Default Making a performance V6....

Im just curious if its possible to make a performance V6 without Turbos, Super chargers or Nitrous. I mean somewhere over 300hp. Seems like the Japs are doing that with alot of their cars. If their V6s come stock with more HP can Mustang V6 with some slight mods: tune up, maybe exhaust or maybe even pistons, cranks, Engine strokers be a truer performer
It seems an American car is not a "performer" unless its a V8.....

dont think theres a solid answer just yet, of course YES comes to mind, but u would have to do it all urself as there arent any kits available yet.

Question... would the 4.2 v6 from the f-150 work in the mustang with our transmission??

weve been over this, sure the nissan 3.5 makes 300hp, but it only makes like 267tq. Thats what wins races right there. With slight mods, you can match that torque. I put down over 240rwtq (thats easily 270+at the flywheel)

forge your pistons, shave your heads, bore your valve bodies, port, thinner gasket, cam, etc... are the ways to get a pumping N/A pony

Well replacing the transmission would also be a neccesary mod I think. THe stock one is pretty clunky.
Well they do have those to make it a 4.5L:

i planned on getting that once they release the 05 06 mustang kit, and that along with the procharger will make some pretty numbers.

Anything is possible. It will cost you more than selling your V6 and buying a used GT. So, buy a GT if you need 300+ HP.
