Just installed the MMR Annihilator CAI and it seems like the car run's smoother? Does that sound about right? It's also pretty cool hearing it suck in the air. In the install instructions it mentioned removing some sort of air baffle inside the inlet tube? I couldn't remove it because I didn't know what I was looking for? Is it o.k. if I didn't? I believe the air baffle was just produced on eary 2005 models, they stopped putting it in at the factory because it was pointlessly draining hp.

i have an early 05 and when i went to take out the baffel it wasnt there
you might not have one at all but i have the mmr too and it sounds great
did you get the tube and shield with it
i need to order the shield

I haven't got the tube yet and I have to get the shield as well. I don't know why they didn't include the shield though. What does the baffle look like? I know I am sounding really ignorant. Sorry.

The baffle looks like a honeycomb really. It was right at the opening of the inlet tube. I have an early 05 too and
don't have one. I thought it was only a GT thing... guess not?
