Default Made out like a bandit!!

I got my firs door ding the other day and luckilly they had insurance. I just got the estimate done to fix the front quarter panel, $420. I was planning on buying some badges to put there anyway and they only cost $25. I ordered the 4.0 badges from autobadges, should cover the ding up and I will have $395 left to blow on something else, lol. Probably get my stripes and a lowering kit, never thought i'd be happy to get a door ding, lol.

LOL yah, what you should do is find an OPEN mini van, park next to it and while no one is looking open their door into ur car, then when the owner gets back make a HUGE seen for witnesses to come and see!

I can't believe it cost so much for repairs, this local shop must charge an arm and a leg. I asked them about painting some stripes and they quoted me $1300. I think I will stick with the vinyl.

Sorry to hear about that Lenny, once you leave the scene of the accident without getting a police report there isn't much you can do.
Once a Jeep backed up into the front of my girlfriends vehicle and the hitch cought the bumper. When they pulled foreward it tore a hole in the bumper. There were witnesses that got the tag# and we file a police report, but never heard from the police again. Good luck, but you may not have a leg to stand on since you didn't do something when it happened.
