Even-fire engine?
Nope
The GT (4.6) is an even-fire engine, but the V6 is an odd-fire engine.
-- Actually, I may have that backwards... I'm trying to find the link where I read up on which is which, but haven't been able to find it yet... if I find the correct answer, I'll post it --

Try this. I got a great explanation from BlueStang6 just yesterday.

Oooh I feel so smart now!... Now if our engines were odd-firing, and we had an X or H pipe, would that increase or change the sound any?

You're right, to make a V6 sound [more] like a V8, you'd have to make 2 cylinders on one bank fire consecutively. For that, it might be cheaper to buy a GT.
