Ok, I guess this was sort of answered here, but I'll ask just to be sure. Being that the V6 is an even-fire engine, with equal pressures on each side, straight pipes would be fine to put on for a dual exhaust?

The two guys I talked to about going with striaght pipes that had them, said it sounded like **** and put a cross over type pipe on them. Both said the same thing....

..."it sounded ricey"....

But exhaust is a matter of taste, so go with what works for you.

I do know that the V6 coil only has 3 trigger wires and
sparks 2 cyls at a time. The one with fuel at TDC
and another at exhaust TDC. I other words, two spark
plugs fire at the same time. One being on the power
stroke and another being on the exhaust stroke.

I once mixed my plug wires up on the coil 180* from what they were supposed to be and it ran the same as with the wires on the right way. It wierded me out that the wires could be put on totally backwards and still run right until Doug from Bama explained the dual firing thing.
