Last night i was on the Belt parkway and i passed an early 2000nd V6. He was going slow and i was pretty far ahead of him when i noticed him coming up on me pretty fast so i was like OK lets do this.. As he gets a little ahead of me I just gunned it and once i got into the next gear he was done..He had no chance. Then i slowed down and let him pass me as i got off my exit looking at him from my vert with the top down..The 05's gotta be a little more powerful than the earlier V6's?

 

Yes, both trannys for the s197 are quicker then the new edge v6 in either tranny. How much? A 5sp new edge v6 is around mid 15's, an auto around low 16's. We are flat 15's or so in 5-sp to low 15's in auto.

The new autos have so much a larger gap over the new edge autos then the new 5-speeds have over their new edge counterparts due to the current auto tranny being 5-sp while the new edge one was 4-sp.
