Go with the Nitto555s man! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/255-4...QQcmdZViewItem

I think I've seen as high as 305s on a mustang. Not entirely sure. Might have stuck out of the wheel well a bit.

Probably 235/50-18 if you want to maintain the 27" stock tire height. This would give you a 9-/14" wide tire with a 4-5/8" aspect ratio (sidewall).

No way the 285/35's gonna fit right. I have 18x9's and 245/40's are 9.5" wide. You will probably need 18x10's to put those on. If you have a larger sidewall ratio, like 50's or 55's you might could go a little wider than what you got, but I wouldn't go more than an inch or so wider than your rims, IMO.

well my 235's are 9 1/4 inches wide, and they look way too narrow for the tire, im sure i could go 1 1/2 inches wider, (thats only 3/4 wider on each side) so thats makes 10 3/4, converted back into MM makes 273. so a 265 should work

ill have a test fit and she how it looks... ALSO my tires are the kind that are rounded on the edges (god knows why) so i loose about 1.2 inches of tread and it looks like ***. perhaps 255's with low profile and non-rounded corners would be ok. ill see whats hes got.

Here is a calculator you can try out, shows the width also. Those 285/35's are 11.22 in. wide!!
