I noticed that the bottom of my grille doesn't line up with the car; it bows up in the middle of each side equally. At first I thought it was a defect, then I saw it on some other stock V6's, in varying degrees. Normal? Design flaw?

Funny, it was like this when I got it and I never really saw it until a couple of weeks into owning the car. But when I looked at a photo of the car when it was still on the lot, the grille looked the same then.

 

Bump. I hope my question made sense. I'm just saying that the bottom of the black grille isn't flush. Are all your stock grilles lik this?

 

yeah, a little bit, but not so much that I ever notice it... only time I do notice is when I'm going over the car with a fine-toothed comb after I wash it. The gap is less than 1/8", but big enough for water to slowly trickle out of for 20 minutes after I'm done washing.

 

Hey, thanks for the answer. After seeing the number of hits on my post with no replies, I began to think I'd asked a really stupid question (which still may be the case)

 

not a dumb question I just did know the awnser to the Question
