Default Got my aero turbine

Today, my axle back came and i was so excited, but god damn! i can't get the nut on the clamp loose to take off my stocker. Is there a trick or something?! I even tried using my drill on the highest torque setting, but that didnt work. My dad couldnt get it loose either. how did you guys do it?!

I used WD40 and let it set for a while. If that doesn't work, try turning the bolt in the opposite direction.

WD-40 as stated, after you spray it, tap the nut /stud with a hammer to get the fluid worked in. Wait a couple of hours and use a socket with a breaker bar. That'll take it right off.

now how the hell do i get it out of the hangers once the clamp is undone so i can take the muffler out. Or better yet, how did you guys get it off step by step...anyone?

Yeah, I basically had to remove all of the hangers. You should also loosen the clamps close to the CAT - the muffer isn't a perfect fit so you'll have to yank it around to adjust it to fit the bumper. Make sure you have at least a 2" clearance between the bumper and exhaust tip. Right now my exhaust tip hits my bumper when I drive down the freeway. It's annoying as hell, so I'm going to have to stick my car on the ramps again and adjust it.

I have the same problem, I have to push it back in with my toe, need to tighten the clamp on the y pipe.
