hey guys, i just found a vortech supercharger kit with x-cal II tune and 39 lb injectors on ebay for 3,099 bucks. However i noticed that it was the non-aftercooled version? and only runs 6-7 lbs of boost. Is the aftercooler (or intercooler...i always thought it was intercooler) necessary for it to work..or is that just a lower hp kit? Thanks

aftercooler with the vortechs, and its safer and allows more boost. Not worth saving a couple hundred bucks to go for the low end kit. hell for another 500 you can get a non intercooled turbo kit through me lol.

Intercoolers flow cooler air into your engine. So more power. Is it for the 4.0 models? Cause I might beat you to it. j/k
