So I learned a lesson today.

Why are our cars called Wild ponies? Because if you are not careful you will get it out of control....

I hit a patch of wet road today in a turn, and wow.... I did a 180. Scared the pants off me, as luck would have it I didn't hit anything.....[:-]

Yeah, i just turn mine off, it's kind of useless lol! It's really good to hear that nothing happened to you, but yeah rear-wheel drive can do that sometimes, especially with no weight in the back. As you drive it more and more you'll learn to control it, believe it or not how I learned to control mine was go to the mall one night after 9 (that's when they close) when it's wet or icy and pull the e-brake a little to get into a drift and then just learn to countersteer. It will do wonders.

I like to get sideways in my car.....i have been doing it on purpose since i got behing the wheel of my first stang in 96. If u got sideways you where either going too fast or full throtle....next time it starts happening just take ur foot off the gas and countersteer a bit (turn the wheel in the same direction the car is slidind to) that should pull the back end in line quickly. yeah, i'm not saying go out and do it everyday or anything just maybe once and a while. It's fun too lol. But I don't want you to do anything that would get you in a lot of trouble. I was just giving you a general idea on how to learn to control your car a little better. Or if you can get access to a track, try drifting. Don't go too fast until you get used to it. I wouldn't want you hitting a wall.

Same here, I go to the local college parking lot (big and EMPTY) though there is no ice or wetness usually in SoCal, I do get to hall *** and jerk the wheel and pull the e-brake.

Or my favorite, go in reverse really fast and turn the wheel half way and hit the e-brake, and learn how the people in the movies do those sweet turn around
