CAI = "cold engine"????
I notice I get better acceleration at a little over 2000 RPMs after the car been sitting in the driveway all night and I drive it the next day. Its like that for about 10 minutes before the engine gets to warm up,..Is that the sort of thing a CAI preserves???
a CAI helps to intake more air and cooler air to be used during combustion. As for driving the next day, I would think alot of it depends on the time. if it is early in the mornin then part of it is the coolness and the density of the air itself. cooler air is denser and when you get it warm it expands therfore more air

But you may look around for a TSB on the fuel pump loosing efectiveness after driving for a while .......
CAI Just allows for better (more) flow of air in the throttle not really even colder air.... (the name is kinda deceiving)....
