So Pretty much the seat covers i have on right now just velcro off? And then i velcro the leather seats back on? Does anyone know if its a messy job tho? because if the cloth comes off wont the foam go all over the place?

Well under all the seats are J clips that snap off easy but some are a pain to reconnect.
The front seats have hog rings (just small metal rings) that attatch the cover to the foam.
If you look at your seat, along the seams are velcro strips behind them, with matching strip on the foam.
The foam is a solid block so its not like flying around everwhere lol
(If you order from Diversified, the two front upper seats are already installed)
Any more Qs come up I'd be happy to help!
-Spartan.. lol thanx

Ahh i see so its not really a hard swap just a time consuming one right?

just takes a little patience. (That cover is just attatched by tooons of plastic "belts" that clip into the plastic
bucket) The fronts take the most work because they need to be unbolted from the car and then disconnect the electric
harnesses. Do realize, if you do this install.. you'll see what a skeleton of a '05 Mustang seat looks like lol. (Point of no return)
Any more specific questions, just ask!

Yeah the reason i want to do this mod is because i want to get my seats embroidered and i dont want it to look bad with cloth seats. Plus i have seen some Black GT's with Dark charcoal leather and it looks really good. Oh one more question i can reuse the clips when taking off the covers right? Its not one of those clips that you have to break to get off and then you have to buy new ones.

The bottom of it is one part of the clip. After I did this install, I was -finally- able to make the flap on bottom portion of the seat attatch.
