RE: What type of gas do you put in your sixxer?
I use 93. Went about 5 tanks with 87 and had **** milage so I decided to try 93. Didnt do a thing, figure I'm getting a tune soon though. Last 3 or so tanks have been 93. I'll stick w/ this since my tuner should be here any day now.

I found a gas station around here that sells 112 oct fuel ... yes thats wasnt a typo 112 oct, only problem is its leaded... I can only guess that it is for the drag cars since it is the closest gas station to our local drag strip... almost makes me wish that I had an old car that ran on leaded so I can see what kind of difference it makes....

I run 93. i don't have a tune yet but I can defiantly tell that there is a better output with higher octane. I will not use low octane ever again.

The car is programmed from the factory to run 87 octane, anything more then that you are burning money, not better running fuel. Some of you are subscribing to the more is better theory, with octane in a stock vehicle; it isn't. A bottle of fuel injection cleaner every so often is not a bad thing (it's basically jet fuel in a bottle), and if you have the ethanol blend like we have in VIRGINIA, the octane might be a bit higher; BUT ethanol will not deliver the same gas mileage, the blend might take a mile per gallon or so off.
