Well for those of you who don't know i have a procharged sixxer with jba shorty headers and a cervini's side exit exhaust. This morning on my way to work as i was merging onto the highway (2 lanes) I see a srt 8 jeep ahead (425hp hemi) so i just had to mess with him. SO i roll up on his left about 30 look at him and smile and we hammer down i pull on him and cut out in the far lane and he does as well right behind me and i notice him fading in the distance up to about 115. I couldn't believe it, granted off the line he would have blew my doors in since it's awd. SO he was definatly cool though we both got off the same exit and he gave me the thumbs up and asked if my car was blown, also said his brother had an 07 gt. Then on my way home from work i'm sitting behind a stock besides exhaust (so i asume anyways) 01 gt at a red light. The kid looks in his rear view revs it up and smiles lol so i look at him rev it to about 5500 blow off valve loud *** hell and he looks back in his rear view like he just made a big mistake Haha. So the light turns green he takes off i spin threw second miss third finally get third lol pass him like he's standing still making sure of course as i shift the blow off valve is right by his window, and i let off at like 75 or so. He was cool to i gave him the thumbs up at the next light and he gave me props. Well anyways just thought i'd share my little story with you guys, I know street racing is wrong and it shouldn't be done but sometimes u just get that itch lol.

wow nice... im new to the stang family (i saw the light and ditched my mitsu after it finnaly fell appart).. anywayz just wanted to see what kind of money am i lookin at if im gonna invest in fixing my car up like yours... how much have u spent...

Got a question red331mustang. How hard was it to set up the side exhaust on the V6? i've been thinking about doing it, but haven't met anyone who's done it on a 6.

Ok not to sound negative here but this never happens to me. First you have the odds of being first in line at a stoplight. Then you have the odds of being first in line at a stop light with a fast car being first in line right next to you. On top of those odds you have being first in line at a stoplight with a fast car being first in line next to you and that fast car wanting to race you. That's pretty darn rare where I'm from But hey if you're getting 5-6 kills a week then more power to ya!

 

Yeah as far as money into my car lol i put way to much in it Haha. Luckily i'm pretty mechanically inclined and i did everything myself, but parts alone i probably have close to $10k. As far as the side pipes it is a bolt on cat back for a gt so all the holes to mount it to the body are all ready there, you just need to make a mid pipe that will split up the factory cats (i cut them and put an x pipe in). Unfortunatly i'm not to swift with computers and stuff lol so i have no sound clips or nothing of my car and if i did i wouldn't know how to post it Haha. Finally for XtacY I wasn't side by side at a red light with either car, The jeep was like 4 cars ahead in traffic so i caught up and got along side of him on the on ramp and then the 01 gt was in front of me at a red light and the right hand lane was full so i had to let him pull away a little before i could cut out and pass him. But yeah it's a suprise both guys wanted to play lol
