Default question about tsb stuff

I have dash rattle that I want fixed and I also have a door handle that pops out a bit. My question for you guys is this. If it is a tsb does that mean it is fully covered? ANd that I can take it in anytime and they will not charge? Or is a tsb just basically saying "we know its wrong, come by and pay us to fix it" I am unsure what to do.

Thanks guys

if your car is underwarrenty it doens't matter. THE TSB are free fixes. the only way you would have to pay is if you voided you warrenty w/modifications that effected what went bad

just had my handle fixed, just bring it in and show them. tell them the spring is probably broken, and when they do fix it, make sure they check the linkage before they put the door panels back on. when I took mine in I told them that I have read it many times on the forum, and it made it easier for them because they knew to look at that first. The linkage was something they messed up on with my car. It would be a good idea to mention the linkage and just tell them one of the other mustang owners had the problem. it was fully covered and didn't take long at all except they had to remove the door panel a second time to fix the linkage.

Are you guys talking about the outside door handle? My passenger side outer door handle is "wobbly" as if there is some missing tension on it... like a broken spring.

I was curious if they would consider that a warranty job or make me pay as if I'd abused it or something.

I just had mine checked out last week and am getting the handle fixed under warranty. Not paying anything. They ordered a new handle so I'll get it on in a few weeks I guess.
