On my V6 it kicks in at 115mph on the button. Get an SCT XCal2 or DiabloPredator tuner, that will take care of the limits.

112 - 113mph is the old mustangs..... My 97 kicked in at 112. On my new one its about 116 - 118.

The 05-07 V6's are all set at 113mph so unless you got it tuned and reset the limiter how you figure you would have 115-118mph for a limiter?

Um, I've had my 6 up to 125 before...and I only slowed down cause I was runnin out of road, not cause the governer kicked in.

Either you have a tuner, are remembering wrong, or are just b.s.'ing, because every limiter on an 05-07 6 is set at 113 stock.

Think about it, our speedo only hits 120 <or 125, i think there's an unnumbered tick after 120>, but regardless no stock car goes right up to it's speedos top speed or surpass it.

Why would a 113mph limiter affect a race? First of all it's stupid to even race that high and theres no point, second of all if he's losing, you hit 113, and he flys by whats he gonna do, call a win? That's very ricey.
