Hi everyone, for one of my classes in school I have to start my own bussiness, not really but I have to make a bussiness plan. I am thinking about opening my own Mustang parts store, it will be for 2005-2007 mustangs, and I will offer performance, interior, and exterior parts. Just pretend like this store will be opening up near you, and answer the qustions below. I need to survey atleast 12 people so the more the better. All you have to do is put the number of the qustion down and write your answer. Thanks everyone. Also my stores name is going to be Mustang Mods.

1. Do you like the name of my business? Yes to simple thou

2. Would you go to my store?Yes

3. Who would be my main competitors? Internet

4. Where do you shop now for your mustang parts? online

5. Would you rather order your parts off line or from my store? depends on selection

6. Would you be willing to go to my store and pay a little more, then having to order off line? yes if the stock was right

7. Do you think my business idea is a good one? yes

8. How far would you travel to get to my store? 35 miles

9. What kinds of parts should I offer? mustang mods

1. Do you like the name of my business? Yes

2. Would you go to my store? Nope, wrong year I have 00

3. Who would be my main competitors? Dont know since I haven't bothered to look for 05-07 models

4. Where do you shop now for your mustang parts? RPM outlet

5. Would you rather order your parts off line or from my store? Store is best since you can actually see what you get

6. Would you be willing to go to my store and pay a little more, then having to order off line? Probably, many times there are shipping costs with online vending that people don't consider

7. Do you think my business idea is a good one? That's a loaded question

8. How far would you travel to get to my store? Depends on your selection and what other services you offer if any (Dyno service, install, etc.

9. What kinds of parts should I offer? Depends on what you want to focus on. The more you offer the further I'd be willing to drive..exhaust, suspension, full overhaul

10. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Is this how kids today do their homework? In my day, if I'd tried something like this, it'd be the shortest distance to an "F" ever. Teachers in my day actually required you to gather information on the people you are surveying so you couldn't make up people just to get it done. Just another piece of evidence against the education system that exists today.

1. Do you like the name of my business?
No, not if you are only offering parts for 05+ mustangs. I would either offer parts for all mustangs, or come up with a name that stipulates the new mustang.

2. Would you go to my store?
I have no idea where your store is. Will you have an online store or just a local shop? But most likely, no, not unless you offered parts that were not available elsewhere that I wanted.

3. Who would be my main competitors?
Every other schmuck out there that's trying to open a highly limited parts store.

4. Where do you shop now for your mustang parts?
Online, Jegs, the perfomance shop across the street from my house

5. Would you rather order your parts off line or from my store?
What are you talking about? Off line? I'd rather order parts from the store with the most reputability and best price.

6. Would you be willing to go to my store and pay a little more, then having to order off line?
What do you mean off line? Off line from where? But, to answer your question, I'd rather pay a little more at a local shop that I trust. But that's ONLY at a shop I trust and am familiar with. Otherwise, the best price wins.

7. Do you think my business idea is a good one?
Not as it stands right now, needs some work.

8. How far would you travel to get to my store?
15-20 miles.

9. What kinds of parts should I offer?
I'd stick with a wide variety of turbonators and NOS stickers. <- just kidding
I thought you already decided that (05+ Mustang performance/appearance parts, right?).

10. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Yes, your business plan is thin and shaky at best. Open up to either all mustang years, or all cars period. Imagine if Jegs just sold products for the corvette. Think how far that would have gotten them.
