Default You guys and your GT's

Damn, with all this talk of people trading up for a GT, I went to ford's website payment calculator, and to trade up to a GT with 0% financing, the monthly payment is like 20 bucks more.....
But i cant do it because of the insurance!
OH GOD WHY!?

Thats exactly why. Insurance companies dont like 19 year old males in los angeles...even though i have a three year perfect driving record, i'm about 5 grand a year. my poor parents. but the car is my payment..

Ya i looked at GT's but my insurance would be too high because im only 17yrs old...Its already $2400 a year so i cant really afford to go higher lol

well im just gonna have to wait until im 21 and get a gt...well by that time i would only owe maybe. 7k or 8k on my pony..

I don't want to open up this can of worms all over again, but the V6 is the smart choice. It's the car that a smart person would buy. It's cheaper, more efficient, and cost less to insure. And it's still fast, looks mean as h@ll, and sounds fantastic (w/ aftermarket exhaust).

With all the money you save, you still have money left over to treat your girl to a nice dinner (and that gets you the farthest, if you know what I'm sayin')

Haha, I know what you mean Ken.. I love my sixer, but....It doesnt hurt to dream does it?
Hey, when im 21/22, the new mustangs will be out, then i can get a new GT! ( or maybe the last year model of the S197 for cheap!)
