WTF? $20,000 car and they don't include freakin' floor mats? So, for short term, I bought cheapo Wal Mart transparent mats and cut them to fit. Where's a good place to find matching carpet floor mats for my light charcoal Mustang?

i dont think i have ever seen floormats in the backseat of a car...at least on none that any friends or family have

i didn't get back seat mats either. however it seems if your order front mats from ford they come with back mats...

my front mats are allready warein' out on the cluch side they seem fairly cheap

Ya my '05 didnt either...Its like people do sit in the back once in a while and there feet do get dirty and that happened to me so it wasnt too pleasing. I went and bought new floormats for front and back though so its alright.

I dont think they come with backseat mats. I test drove about 2 Gt's and they didnt even come with backmats. I know if you buy aftermarket mats they come with backset mats.

Hey guys I'm from the 4.6 forum for the '06-/'04's. Saw this thread title and had to post. I have a '99 convertible. Paid $8700. this past spring and had to diagnose a miss and repair that. Thought it was the tranny and changed the fluid twice to no avail. The tranny shoptold me it was an engine miss and changed one odd coil and fixed!
I wish I could buy a new style Stang. My GT has but 260HP and $2430. in performance mods got me .5 and 5 mph in the 1/4. I wouldn't want to put anybody but child in my back seat and then I would have dirty feet on the back of my white seats!
Ford has bean counters and though back seat mats would only cost them $20. that is millions with the Stangs they sell and you might say you would have paid the extra cost they also need to keep the cost of the cars down so they are competitive. New GT I saw was $28,8xx. Used '04 Cobra's and Mach 1's are nearly that much. So I drive a '99 convertible that I bought used with a skip and NO mats whatsoever! Oh, I have a neat hard plastic interior also, really cool and CHEAP! Thanks you, mark

Hmmmm....that's odd. Because my '06 pony package came with fronts and backs. According to the salesman, those mats were only available in the pony package though. Sounded like a sales pitch to me at the time, and supposedly limited-edition floor mats weren't going to sway me either way. But from the sounds of it...maybe they're worth something now - lol.
