I've been looking at alot of cars since my dream of a GT was crushed due to insane insurance. Anyway I never even considered looking at the V6. So anyway are the V6 2005 mustangs still fast stock? By fast I mean something in the 15's.

Stock mid to low 15's
With bolt ons high 14's to 14.3's
Juiced mid 13's easy
SC'd and TC'd 13.4 to 12.8's

All the times above have been achieved by people that post on these forums. PHP and Powerhouse (mustang shops) got thier cars in the 11's on the stock block. The PHP car is a Vortech SC car with Nitrous. The Powerhouse car is a Turbo car.

Cause I want to know just how fast I need to go to have the fastest N/A auto(or stick [sm=burnout.gif] ) mustang, who ran 14.3? Is that Fazm's corrected et? I saw fazm posted PHP did 13.9 with a preped car, so maybe that is my goal? My 17" drag radials will be in this week so i'm gonna try to get to the track friday and beat my own time. ( I installed the LCA's and adj pan hard bar last sunday)

14.3 is blaster or Jon Lund 13.9 was PHP car on slicks and skinies.

high 14's are supposedly possible with the pony packaged stick because of the stickier tires...i think otherwise it is mid-low 15's auto, low 15's for stick and pp auto.

If your goal is the PHP car, you will need to do the following:


• PHP V6 air box kit
• PHP A/C bypass belt
• PHP/SCT tune
• PHP alternator under drive pulley
• PHP V6 engine mounts
• PHP V6 strut brace
• PHP upper and lower rear control arms
• 4.10 gears with GT 8.8
• Slicks and skinneis
• Rear seat delete
• Sound system delete
• JBA shorty headers
• JBA H pipe with cat converters and dual exhaust

This is the configuration PHP ran to get the 13.9.

Powerhouse did, spraying the 150 shot early I belive...launching at 5k on DR's. We are talking over 500rwtq all at once on the rear end.
