I found a 300$ Pypes true dual for my 05' V6, if i get it, i cant install it myself because i cannot weld. If i were to get it,
1. How much roughly would it be to install?
2. Is PYPES a good company?
3. Will i get good power and sound?

I have Pypes X pipe and mid pipe with two GT mufflers. It cost me $250 for the install and I did have the guy tack weld the mid pipe.
If you get a shop to install, expect to pay any where from $80-275.

I do like the sound and it looks so much better than the wimpy V6 muffler. Now if Ford would have had their exhaust set up for sale when I was shopping for one, I would have bought that one. It is more expensive but it sounds sooooo much better.

Question, are you cutting the hole in the bumper for the second exhaust? That's what I did and you can't tell....it looks like it came from the factory that way.

I dunno, the exaust tips are pointed down, so i think i might just run them under the bumber for now, and later....$$$.... ill get new tips and/or mufflers and run it through. I bet it looks great though on yours!!

You don't want to do that for several reasons. It WILL melt the bumper and it looks GHETTO.
Use the template below....you can cut it with a utility knife. Now that the weather is warm, the plastic is easy to cut through. Best part....it's FREE!

I'd vote for the CAI/Tune first even though duals were my first mod. Not saying they weren't worth it (I love them) but the CAI & a good tune can't be beat unless you go F/I

07 Stang, it will melt the bumber? I've seen a handful of people do it?

When I had my bumper cut it wasn't quite enough so it rested on the exhaust tip and melted/burned. I took more off and it's fine now

On this site? I haven't seen any one on this forum with their exhaust sitting below the bumper.
Just cut it and it will look clean and you will be glad you did it!
