Gt Rear bumper

RE: Gt Rear bumper
Well my GT bumper was "ok" and I say that loosely. I paid for the premium one and got a missing tab and some deep scratches. They are on the bottom where you cant see them except for one so I called and complained and they said that they will refund me $80. I have been watching my credit card online and no refund yet. The skirts were not treated with a ton of care either. Oh well I suspect that the quality will be the same everywhere becuase they all buy from aftermarket builders anyway ... All in all it still makes me wet looking at the car even with one muffler still missing. When the exhaust gets put on this weekend I am just gonna EXPLOAD!!!!!

Hey Stickman, It was easy. First, Behind the rear tires, there are 2 screw on each side to remove. Inside the trunk, take out the panel to expose the taillights. Unbolt the tail lights and disconect the plugs. Then, you will see I think 6 nuts going across the top of the rear bumper from inside the trunk. Take them out. Under the rear bumper you will need to remove the 2 plastic push plugs (on the GT bumper there are 3 push plugs) You can order 1 from Ford for $7.45 . You should be ready to pop the bumper off. After it's off, you will need to drill out the rivits that hold the cross bar in place (you need to reuse this). You can rivit it back on or use screws and then start putting it back on. Mine came with the side marker light so I didn't have to reuse mine. My car is at www.cardomain.com/ride/2397906/1 You can see how it turn out.
