Ok today my car was just about empty, maybe a little bit of gas still in it maybe a gallon. So i go to fill it up at the gas station and it only allows me to put 11 gallons in before it shuts off and I know it holds closser to 20. Has any one had this problem and know whats wrong the car also says its full inside but its not. If I have to take it to the dealer I will have to take my C&L off and tune right.

#1 Gas tank holds 16 gallons, E light comes on when you have about 1 gallon left so thats 12 total gallons. I had a problem like you only my tank would only let me put in about 3 gallons from E and spit it back out. I took it to the dealership and they switched out the gas tank for a new one, car was there about 5hrs. Not sure about the guage in the dash but you could pry have them check that out then too. And if they check the guage then they might check the computer so i would say reflash and put the factory airbox back in just to be sure, it only takes 20mns to do anyways.

So actually it might be working right then if it only holds 16. When i filled it up it said I had like 50 miles left, so is this right then. IF it filled up like 11 gallons.

you should take them off otherwise they may make you pay for whatever they fix even if its their fault... im not sure about the tank saying its full though... thats a new one.

the last two times I went to the gas station the pump cut off with only 8 gallons put in. I was near empty with "11 miles to empty" It had to sit there for 5 min or so messing with the pump, taking it out and putting it back in and finally it filled up. I even tried a different pump with the same result. Maybe Ill take mine to the dealership next week.

There is a tsb for this, take your car to the dealer and have it fixed. I believe they will replace the gas tank.

I think I have a problem with my car. I went in with a 1/4 tank yesterday and the pump quit before it hit $30.lol

Sorry, my comment was suppose to be a joke becuase gas here is now down to $2.19/gal. Knock on wood I haven't had any problems.
