went to see jackass 2 last night.. and i come out only too find my car got it, like a trck witha hitch backed up into me... i got adent on my front bumper.. looks like a golfball at highspeeds made the mark (for your visual)..

im royallly angry.. and its not worth the insurance call

 

people are such di*ks. You can't have a nice car without someone doing something to it . A friend of mine has an RX8 and it was 3 dents from people opening their door and slamming his door. I try to park as far as possible from people, but then you get scared that someone will intentially do something to it.

 

That kind of crap is going to happen no matter what, whether as an honest accident, somebody just being an ignorant dick, or even deliberately.

For the first month I was parking miles away from the store, staying a hundred yards behind other vehicles on the highway to avoid rock chips..

I've gotten over it, I bought this car as a daily driver, and I'll just have to deal with it.. I did buy the plan from Ford that says they'll pull out dings for free, and time to order some touch up paint for a few little chips and scuffs here and there.

I figure the best I can do is have it detailed/touched up professionally maybe once a year. But when it comes down to it, other than parking it in a garage and never driving it, there's not much you can do. And if I just wanted to look at a parked mustang, I could go to the dealership and do that for free.

 

.... its very frustrating that it comes to the point where u have 2 be afraid that if u go to like a 7-11 that u have 2 be afraid u might have ur car smashed in or keyed...

 

yeh i know what you guys mean... like im not worried about paint chips from rocks or stuf fliek because ever everyday driving, its life.. like im not even worried about parking far, if anything i try and park as close to the door as possible.. something like this shouldnt happen, if only people took care.. how would they like it if it happened to them.. so the way it looks now i need 2 new bumpers 1 frotn and 1 rear... (my rear had damage from a previous rub..)


ohh well maybe next year ill fix it

 

I had something very similar happen...I was backed into at the gas station...luckily I wasn't inside the mini-mart, I was sitting in my car. Filed a police report, got $$ from his insurance, and bought a GT front fascia to replace everything!

 

Imagine driving a new stang to school like I do. I had one kid yell out his window, "you little F*****, you drive a brand new mustang". I always worry about someone keying my car.

 

I'm going on a business trip next week and will be leaving my new Mustang at the airport ... I'm a little nervous but gotta do it ..

 

no one can drop u off and pick u up when u come back???

 

I cant even imagine how you must feel about that...I would leave the car at home and take a taxi to the airport.
