I think Afixer nailed this. The X-Charger has the looks, performance that'll make you grin until your face hurts, and a sound at speed that will make your radio an unused accessory....It very simply rocks.

If you spend more time at the strip than on the street, there may be somewhat quicker ways down the 1/4 mi, but I spend my time on the street, and the X was the perfect choice for me.

Who wouldn't want to open their hood to this?

That's in the final development stages (I'm already on the list)

The stock california spec kit uses the GT airbox lid and MAF housing

Bscottie's car has the prototype system on it, maybe he can post a photo

You'll need to consult Dave at Explorer Express for the current pricing (my kit was reserved last spring, and I believe pricing has changed since then)

but about 280ish RWHP and about the same for torque if not a lil more on a stock engine. But if u do it to a modified engine, ie. p&p heads, bigger cam, dished pistons, to bring the compression down to between 8.5:1 and 9:1, myb stroke it out to about 4.3L, then u will be seeing some great numbers. somewhere around the 340 range whils still maintaining some very good streetablity. but thts just my 2 cents

is the CAI the only difference in the Hi-Po kit?
