Mudflaps
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get mudflaps? Does anyone out there have them? How do they look? Too much junk from the road is getting kicked up by my tires, so I figure this would be the easiest way to protect the car. Thanks ahead of time!

RE: Mudflaps
I got Ford mud flaps/splashguards (whatever you wanna call 'em). I got the molded ones intended for my car from a Ford dealership "parts" site. A few bucks less than what Ford would charge, but is Ford parts. Linkage: PartsCheap
As for looks, I think these look great actually! I basically do not even notice I have them anymore. They are not like some oversized 18-wheeler flaps-o-rubbers bouncing around in the wind. They blend right in, look great AND really do a nice job keeping the goop off the rear fenders!
These pics are a bit too close up to do them justice, but at least I have these two pics of my car taken shortly after installing the flaps....
They make 'em for the GT or the V6 specifically. On my V6 there are two screws that simply need to be removed and put back in with the flap in place.... voila! But I did have to buy a small sideways fitting ratchet and you need a T20 (I think) security bit and it worked great - otherwise, the instructions suggest you have to jack the car and remove the wheels.... ouch.
EDIT: The bit may have been a Phillips Head. I just don't honestly remember now. [8D]

RE: Mudflaps
Thanks for the link...gonna check them out! With all the crap in the road, it's getting increasingly more difficult to get the crud off the car, and before anything serious happens (like chipping off paint), I figure I'll get some mudflaps...Thanks again!
