Ok what should be my next performance mod......



My Mods are listed below.

 

rear gears and street-strips

 

lsd!!!! sick of those one tire burnouts haha

 

4.10s and detroit true trac

 

i'd go with the lsd and the gears, and some tires that actually grip on takeoff (curse you BFG!)... eventually you need to look into upgrading the suspension, particularly if you want to go really high performance. springs would be a plus (i'm really getting tired of the takeoff squat and the braking nose-dives), as would control arms and new sway bars

 

I have the pony package so isnt some of that stuff upgraded?

 

i'm not sure to tell you the truth... i thought pony package was mostly appearance mods

 

i just checked the ford site and i was looking at the v6 premium package... nothing different in gearing or suspension

 

supposedly they throw sway bars and i think stiffer springs in it possibly. they also have the gt rims with the pirellis which are good

 

check out the sway bars and see if they're really thin or actually decent.. alot of guys rave about sway-replacement
control arms will get you a much better launch too

i haven't seen anyone comment on solid mounts or trans mounts... why's that?
i had a set in my last car and it ran alot better
