Default Issues with car!

I recently gave my sister my 05 V6 and ever since she got it a lot of problems have came up. I took off the nitrous, the intake, and put the 87 octane tune on and now when we start the car, it idles real rough. When you try to drive it the car is hesitant and is jumpy when you stop. I messed with it last night and there were no DTC's, usually there is two from the L/T Headers I put on, but that is normal. I started it last night and it was all over the RPM when it was in idle, its as if it cant settle down. It finally settleted to about 900 RPM in idle, but when my mom drove it today she said it was doing the same thing as it was. She said that even when she gives almost full throttle the car doesnt want to go, it just makes a lot of noise, and when she slows down to stop, it wants to keep going. I dont know what the problem could be. Anyone?

Maybe the 87 tune didn't reflash propperly, or wasn't loaded into the tuner properly.

Sounds weird, but about 3 weeks ago on the dyno, my tuner finished my stock tune, set the transmission settings back (you gotta much with the auto tranny to put it on a dyno), and reloaded the tune on my XCal. I put the tune in my car, and took off, but something was weird. I thought it might have been something to do with the ABS, and the car just coming off the dyno. Then a light popped up. Started running REALLY rough. I had to put the tune I ordered online back in to drive the rest of the way home.

The next day, I went back, and he rebuilt my tune from scratch, but messed up and reprogrammed the XCal with the tune that was bad from the day before. Everything worked fine. Somehow when he loaded the tune from his PC to the XCal, something went wrong. The XCal acted like it was ok, and the PC said it burnt sucessfully.

If you have the tune in a file on your PC, you might try reloading it into your XCal, and then reflashing the car. If not, you might want to ask whomever you got the tune from if they can get you the file to load.

Good luck.

Did this start after she filled up? Maybe she has some water in the fuel. You may need to drain the fuel and replace the filter.

Sounds like an intake leak somewhere... Car can't put it's finger on the intake flow and as such can't properly adjust the a/f for it....

bad o2 sensors can make the car act up specially when the longtubes have changed their original location.

Did you reset the factory tune or the 87 tune. If you put the stock intake back on with an custom tune set up for the CAI that is most likey the reason, with the custom tune it's not getting enough air. Someone else on here had this problem when the got their tuner before installing the CAI.

I turned the car back to stock and it seemed to run better. It is most likely the Long tube headers. Im going to put the stock headers back on ASAP. Thanks for the help.
