I kinda wish there was a gold, my first Stang was a 68 gold with a vinyl top.

tell the dealer to get you a carfax report and watch his reaction!

No, this one is quite a bit lighter than that. Thanks for the tip on the paint codes, I'll look at that tonight - is there a place online I can check that? Sounds like I may have to spring for CarFax and make sure it hasn't been in a wreck or something. Thanks again!

Hey BEAUSTANG,

I learned to drive in 1968 in a 68 TAHOE TURQUOISE MUSTANG with a WHITE C STRIPE. How's that for old school. Great memories, the car had an inline six with a three speed on the floor. Sorry, just strolling down memory lane.

There is no such thing as Lime Gold Metallic on a 2005 Mustang. The Green is called Legend Lime Metallic (see pictures below). This same shade of Green was used on the late 60's models and refered to as Lime Gold Metallic, but never on the 2005's. However, there is really no gold tint to it at all. Legend lime is definatly not what Maverick22 is talking about.

There was no Colorado Red either on an '05. It was (and still is) Torch Red.

Cool sounding car. Mine was a 289 auto with a 2 barrel carb, besides my new Stang that was my favorite car of all time.

Geez people, relax....I was just trying to give the guy an idea of what the paint codes looked like. Never claimed the descriptions were accurate, it was a google cut and paste.......

My god......

There is a remake of 'Kolchak'.
A sci-fi series,the new version has him driving a
gold colored GT .
Maybe someone can google the series, and find the car ?

I watched the two episodes that aired I thought the car was Grabber Orange. Like I said I only remember two episodes so I could be wrong. I do remember it had Gabrielle Union in it and she is SMOKING.
