Default Maintenance

My car is 7 months old and I just hit 20,000 miles on the odometer. The only mechanical maintenance I've been doing is the routine oil changes, is there any other maintenance things I should be looking into..?? car runs fine.

i would go to the dealer and have them perform a 20,000 mile check up......i had a 10,000 mile check up which i do a check up evey ten to 15 thousand miles. i change the opil between 3 and 5 thousaqnd miles.......you probably could use a tire rotation at the least...

hope this helps.

I would have your fuel filter checked as well...speaking of which I should get that done seeing as how I have 39,000 miles and haven't got that done

I have a maintenance book from Ford and from my dealership. Basically, if you haven't done anything but oil changes, you should do a wheel alignment, change the cabin air filter (do this yourself, you will easily pay over $100 to have this done for you), maybe replace the fuel filter, check your fluids, rotate the tires, check your air filter, the routine stuff.

I've had mine for 7 months and just hit 15k. I'm doing an alignment at 20k, fuel system cleaning at 25k, and then of course the 30k service is a BIG one. If I have the 30k service done at the dealership, including their "recommended" services, it would cost about a $1000 to do. The regular 30k interval at my dealership is $500. I plan on spreading out the recommended services over time.

What brand of oil are y'all using? I have seen Royal Purple, Mobile 1, and some others listed on this forum.
