Where is the best place to get sill inserts?

Thats not a bad question. I would like somthing to dress mine up but haven't seen any that I really like.

Here are mine, complete with the insert decals. The supplier just changed names, something like AMERICAN MUSCLE. I'll forward that in the next post after the photos.

I'm told that mine are an OEM part from FORD, the company offers the insert decals as an option. They have different colors on the decals and they go on with warm, soapy water and were easy to install.

My sills have nothing "in" them other than raised letters stamped into the sill. It's all black so can these be upgraded with an insert?

YES, either of the varieties shown could be used. Mine went on with sticky tape. There are other designs out there. If you order the ones like I have from AMERICAN MUSCLE, you can get different colored lettering, but if you have black you would want black lettering. My insert letters are the flat or matte black; I think they offered gloss black also. It's a nice upgrade and should look sharp. My OEM sills were the gray plastic with the MUSTANG lettering molded into the plastic door sill. American Muscle sent me the brushed aluminum plates and the decals for a reasonable price.
