Your amp puts out 250 rms and your sub puts out 250 rms. These are the numbers you want to get the best results. If you bridge you get a higher rms as well as a higher peak. This is bad because you could potentially blow youe sub on those peaks. As I said, match RMS wattage, its the absolute best way to go in matching subs with amps.
So heres a few pics of my line output setup. I know....it looks messy....but my enclosure covers it all up [sm=smiley4.gif]. Its all fairly self explanitory. The blue clips connecting to the speaker lines are the wire taps i used to avoid splicing.
yea that's pretty much the same thing I have...it does actually splice the wire a little because you have to somehow connect copper to copper. It's one of those clips you can buy at the hardware store i'm pretty sure. Once u clip it over u put both wires in...right? Looks just about the same as mine.
EDIT- this should be a stick haha

Yeah thats about it. You put both unstripped wires in the slots, then you clamp down a little connector plate that pierces through the insulation and makes a bridged connection to the two wires. They never actually touch though, its like a mini fuse in a way, without the resistance at least. Then you fold the clip over and thats it. Nice and clean with only pliers needed.
I picked one up. The one i have is 4 channel , i can just hook up the rr and lr channells right and just leave the wires for the front channells dead?
also, i cante tell which wire is positive and which is negative? one has solid color and the other has a black stripe?
