Default GT Driveshaft?

Will a 05-07 GT driveshaft work on our 4.0 auto's?

Actually, I was thinking of the same question as he did. My reason was that if a GT driveshaft would work, then it would be easier to switch to a 8.8" GT rear-end. Since they are not interchangeable, then I will have to change the 8.8" to a V6 yoke (if I go that route). Regardless, thanks for the answer.

it wouldnt make it any easier, because the driveshafts are also different lengths.

real easy to just change the flange if you are going to put in a 8.8 rear
