so bascially you have to buy a GT Rear axle buy a T-lock then the gears?
if you buy a gt rear, it comes with a tlok already.

if you want to keep your 7.5" rear, then you buy an lsd of some sort (tlok, auburn, truetrac) and put gears in at the same time if you want gears.

Its hard to believe that something so small and so cheap is this hard to comprehend and do. Gears suck...until you install them that is.

What is the advantage to having power to both wheels?

well thanx for the advice mustangman02232, but i dont want to run 4.10 gears. I want to run 3.73 just because of the high rpms on the freeway. and another thing i know i have to get the car retuned for the speedo to work right or whatever. But right now i am running a evo tune. Will this effect my performance tune or should i be alright?

the advantage of having power to both wheels is that it doe handle better. and if you into racing ( drag and some street) that would mean a better wholeshot

With your hand-held tuner, you can go into the optional parameters and change your gearing over to the new ratio (I'm not sure if EVERY ratio is in there or not but 3.73's are). No need to send anything back to Fred @ Evol - you can do this yourself.

Hey! All 6er's
I've pass the 500 mile marker for breaking in the new Strange 3.73 gears, no need to breakin the T-Lok.

This car now can pin your back to the seat, with the new gears & t-lok. These strange gears and t-lok are great. I had RealSpeed on Long Island install them, same people that did my dyno. I think they did a good job. Both wheels spin a little and the pull is much better than before. My bill was under $800.00 for the Strange Gears, T-Lok,g-kit, g-oil & Labor plus Tax[:'(]

Hey!
If your looking to burn two wheels, then you need to get some type of posi-rear and for a stronger pull, off the line then you need to get 3.73 gears or better. Depending on your driving needs for the vehicle, if your going to race and no highway driving, than get the 4.10 and if your going to do light street racing/Highway driving, than go with the 3.75 gears.
