Got pulled over the other day

Hey MR POLITICAL SCIENCE major.
A TERRY stop is for weapons and didn't involve a vehicle at all. Mr TERRY was an armed robber getting ready to do a job in OHIO and aroused the suspicions of a sharp, street officer. I guess you missed that class in college.
Seriously, the officer doesn't need a whole lot for a stop. But you need to do SOMETHING. We used to stop vehicles for bulbs out and lights out OR if we had a lookout for a vehicle of a similar description doing something wrong. I hate to hear about officers that stop someone for no good reason.

Here's what wikipedia pulled up on "terry stop" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_stop
So they can't just pull anyone over? I figured it was their right to pull someone over if things didn't seem right. In my case, they saw me wearing a goofy-*** grin on my face because I was driving a hot new Mustang.
Also I live in Canada, so perhaps the RCMP have a different way of doing things.
