stock for stock we hang dead even. wehn they start modding though they drop into the 13's all motor very quick. bastard cars can run well up into the rpm range.

I had an RSX-S. From a dig it should be pretty even for a manual v6...from a roll forget it, they have a much much much better top end then us. They take to mods a little better then us as well. The two big n/a mods for an RSX are race header and Hondata/ K-pro...one with I/RH/E/ Hondata is good for low 14's on average, some dipping into 13's. The 05-06 models, the ones without the dips in the head and tail lights, are a bit faster stock and mod better then the 02-04's, the models with the teardrop lights.

then again k-pro costs around 1 grand and race headers are like 500 bucks. for that much money you could do gears/lsd + intake/dyno tune and still have cash left. mod $ for mod $ we are just a bit behind. stock it is about equal from a dig like you said and you are right about rolls. they have an awesome top end.

I raced an 06 Civic SI and stayed ahead of it until a red light (probably hit 50 mph). I guess it does depend on the driver, but I have faith in our Mustangs.

The only thing the new Civic Si has over us is max RPM's, 6 speed and it lighter in weight. It only puts out 196 HP @7800 RPM's but only 139 Ft/LBs of Torque @ 6100 RPM's. That's the gay thing about V-Tech's... they put out ****ty torque

the new civic SI also comes with LSD stock. but its a pig too, stock for stock we have their nuts.

I was playing around with an older Civic Si Hatchback a couple of nights ago... lol He pulled out in front of me and gunned so I passed him for fun and I guess he got pissed and turned onto the same rode so I just got several cars ahead (2-lane road) and just chilled in the right lane because I didn't feel like speeding and getting in trouble for it. Then he passed me with his loud fart can muffler and he was cutting people off being a dick. So I got behind him without being a dick to the other drivers on the road and then I got over when it turned into a 3-lane road and passed him again and stayed in front as the lains merged into 2 again lol. The thing is that I didn't have to try and keep up or anything because it was sooo easy... It was fun though because I never went more than 10 mph over the speed limit (which was only 45)
