Default BMR V6 Strut Tower Brace...

Hello All,
This is a mod that I went for, since I have a vert, though it is not the jba shorty headers, Ouch!!! I went with a BMR strut tower brace..............The quality ofthe BMR fab is really incredible from what I have seen so far......though many say that the brace it not that great of a benefactor for the coupes and it maybe helpful for vert owners, I went with it................since owning my 06, I added the GT take off sways and now the brace, it seems to be much tighter than just having the orig. V6 sway that comes with the V6......................some have said don't go with a single bar style, but this brace really is a monster!!! Nothing like any rice style bar.............even if people say it is just for a look..............I could see it being helpful and a vert style car......anyway thought I would share a photo:

P.S. Please no flames.....it is Christmas Eve.......[sm=icon_flaming.gif]

P.S.S. Have a nice Holiday!!!

Nice I like it. It looks like the strongest single ive seen.

Im working on making a double bar one in shop class right now. Im off from school for a week soI cant work on it, but im about half way done. Im making the two rails out of bent square bar and making 4 cross-over pieces to tie it together. I am also adding a plate in the middle with V6 cut in the middle for some looks. I just have to weld everything together and fab up the mounting plates for each end. Then I will either paint it red (the color of my car) or black... I will post pics at a later date when its done.

Looks good, do you think there would be enough clearance for a plenum cover?

Thanks, I got it from Midwest Auto www.midwestautogear.com it's a plastic piece and very high quality. The cost was around $130 but check the classified section as occasionaly someone sells a used one.

Thanks for the shots, it doesn't look like that one will clear. I'll have to shop around.
