Fitbikeco ran a 14.5 with a single MRT muffler, XCAL2, MMR Intake and Dougs tunes. Damn impressive for 2 bolt ons and a tune IMO. And he's a peg leg.
doug is at b-amachips right? hmmm...

was that run on street rubber? that's pretty damn amazing if it was!
GT/V6 Pony Package Stock Pneros. Yes, Doug as in b-amachips.com

yeah they answered it, i have had a couple run ins with the 3.8's they are mostly pretty easy kills one had duals and was a close race,i assume he had other mods....
the 4.0 is closer to the New Edge gt than to the 3.8 i think...(the gt is faster yes but with bolt ons a 4.0 can hang)

The problem with the 04 and down v6's is that there are very few that are modded. I guess the same could be said about all v6's in general. I have yet to see a real modded v6 on the road at all. The new v6's have some kick to them that the 3.8's didn't stock. Thanx to the new 6 though, people are starting to realize the potential market for our cars and see the $$$ that can be made in it.

On a side note though, i have come across 2 new v6's that played.

The first was at a light, niether of us gunned it off the line, but i was about 1/2 car back and he decided to jump on it. I threw it 2nd got nose to nose with him and by time i was in third he fell back to my door and i was gone. I did have the advantage of being lighter though (stock i am lighter and i had an empty tank, lol). I am also pretty sure he was an auto.

Second was on I-95, I was driving home from work with my buddy and we notice this 05 vert by us. So we started to play around and i get ahead of him and then slow down to around 45mph (that is extremely slow on I-95, early morning and no traffic). I was hoping he was gonna line up with me, but instead he just flies by me doing 60, so i gun it. I started to close the gap and pull on him, but about 2 cars away i hit my speed limiter, and he wasn't going any faster either ( i think he hit his aswell). So i guess he killed me, but i think if he would have lined up, i would have had him. Good old days. Sorry for the long post!

Thanks sonic. Sad thing is, i don't mind the power output of the 3.8, its those rims that i hate the most!!! I keep wanting to get some new rims, but i would rather get a tuner, gears, short throw shifter, etc. One of these days, lol

I was thinking about either some 17" Black FR500's w/chrome lip, 17" Mach 1's, or maybe some 15" welds, not sure where i wanna go with that.

No disrespect, but is fistbikeco's car a factory-freak? I mean, some cars seem to be hotter (more powerful) than others.
