hmmm i think this is the future of sunroofs. this, with the technology applied from that license plate that can go dark....imagine flipping a switch and having your roof go totally clear, then switching it back and it going black and letting no sun in. sexy? hell yes.
dude, thats totally possible today....However it will be kinda pricy. I believe they put some kind of coat on the glass that is eletcronically controlled from clear to not so clear(lol).

i got a quote from the people in ann arbor they said it would be about 2600 and it takes have a day to put in
im still looking for ttops but if i cannt find them soon i might consider this option the problem is you cannt shut the sun off
at least in a vert you can put the top up but with the glassback even with the tint the sun would just beat down hot hot hot

I don't know why would it be any hotter than T-tops? Look at the glass panels in the Vet.... I imagine it has UV filters...

Was that $2600 install or $2600 just for th e roof?

are the Glassback roofs and the Saleen scenic roofs the same thing as far as looks? i wouldn't mind having a roof like that as long as it's not on my daily driver car. in these pics, it does look like it can get a little warm though:
