Default Tire Size

I bet there has been a previous post about this but I don't have much time to search for it so I will ask again. I am getting 18" Rims and I want to get wider tires but keep the same height. Can anyone who knows about this suggest a tire size to me. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Use this site. Put in your current tire size, then just trial-and-error with the second tire size until you find the size you like. (and it has a side view and an end view so you can see what will be wider without being higher).

It really depends on the width of the rim, but for an 18" x 8" wide rim, you'd be looking at 255/45-18's or so. 7.5" width, 235/50-18, etc, etc.
