You definately do ....gears, tracloc, shorties etc etc ..the times your pulling with your mods are pretty amazing ....i dont know how you even hook with a pegleg and stock tires. Even with the tracloc after i installed the 4.10's my car would spin the stock 16 inch tires thru all of first and then some more in second. Thanks to the community for their ongoing support and knowledge.

Why did you remove the PHP alternator pulley?
ORIGINAL: Puerto Rico 4.6
I went to the track yesterday ...i didnt plan to run the car since i though the 18 inch Fanblades and the removal of the PHP alt pulley had killed any chances of lower ets. I was just there to help a buddy who was running nitrous on his 05 GT. When we got there it was raining and by the time they had dried the track it was already 10 ...so i only got one run in before it started raining again. Car had no weight taken off, spare back seat and everything was in there. I stage anddidnt powerbrake at all. Chirped 2 and third and took the slip. 14.5850 at 92.78 1/4 with 2.0969 60ft times and 9.3050 @ 75.09 1/8.My set up is a bit different than when i did the 14.63 at 92.2 run. Iam know running C&L instead of the AFE, 4.10's instead of 3.73's , 18 inch drag radials with fanblades instead of 17 drag radials with GT premium wheels and JBA shorties. With better conditions (dry weather) i think i can do a bit better...so we will see. This got me going again so maybe i will postpone the Zex install for a while. My scanner is not working so i will try to post the slip during the weekend.

im sure same reason as i did, dead alternator.
great times pr, i tried to go to the track tonight, even though it was wet today. called, they said they were open, drove down, and they were closed.
time to order a new clutch anyway.

now you guys with the dead alternators, will that come from an underdrive pulley as well. i have heard that there are 2 seperate pulleys we can swap. If so please let me know that the underdrive is a bad idea also. I have a 1000 watt amp and 2 12's in my trunk and if my alternator dies my battery is sure to follow.

If you are running a big amps system ..i woulnt use underdrives. Iam guesiing the problem with the PHP alt pulley is that it is just too big. At idle the car doesnt really charge the battery ...traffic here is very bad as is the heat, so I am usually in bumper to bumper conditions with my AC and Shaker 500 blasting...
