Acting weird in Winter?
k maybe im just a total NOOB, but this morning as I was driving to school (7:30 am...live in eastern PA), the stang felt a little.......off......What i mean is, when i was off the gas..it felt like something in the rear was holding me back, and the car would come to a stop, not immediately, but awkwardly quickly..i listened carefully and heard an almost rubbing of sorts as i had my foot off the gas..eventually the problem went away as i drove for a longer period of time..has anyone else had the same problem?

yea... ur ebrake froze... if that happens again... DONT drive it FAR!! u will mess up ur brakes in the back...
monday im getting it fixed and their replacing my rotors, brake pads and calipers in back for free as well as the cable..
so yea, DO NOT continue to drive when it does that..
bring it to the dealer asap while its doing it so they can check it out and fix it for u..

yup, you will prob get the runaround... i brought it there a few weeks ago w/ all the TSB numbers 2 help the process and they made it sound like i had 3 heads... and were like u will have 2 pay if we find out nothing is wrong... so make sure the ebrake currently is frozen when u drop it off. lol

Maybe this is just my dealer.
But when I called in to set up an appointment and explained the problem. They told me the e-brake had frozen and to bring it in and they would fix it. I didnt even have to ask. It seemed that they had seen this problem many times, and gave me no hassle what-so-ever. Although they did not fix the rotors, pads and calipers but I havent noticed any real difference in braking since the fix, so i believe that no real damage was caused.
They should fix it...it is a real problem and can do real damage and is also a mega annoyance.
Cheers,

Oh and one more thing. The part took about a week to come in, and yes to answer your question. I didnt use the ebrake during that time to reduce possible damage. Just left it in gear and hoped the clutch/gears didnt slip.
