Default Us vs. Civic Si

I was looking at Edmunds and it compares the Mustang V6 to a Civic Si. Does a I4 car with 100 less torque really compare to our 6s? If so....hmmmmmmm

what do you think?
Edmuds isn't always right and it's just an opinion.
I'd take it with a grain of salt ifI were you.
The mustang is a classic. Honda's are just econoboxes for average people to rice lovers.

dont forget about weight, gear ratios, number of gears, etc. theres lots of things to consider, and it seems not too many people here do, before jumping to conclusions.

on paper, the SI is faster, but ive always beat them at the track (and yes the new ones, the old ones i slaughter). Quickest ive seen one go is 15.7

no, no,,,there is no comparison between a rice burner and a Ford Mustang.
Ever heard of a classic honda? I don't think so.
Some people confuse themselves with comparisons that need no comparing. There ain't any!

Speed wise, yes, they are comparable.Less torque in the Si can be benificial when it comes to traction, considering it is FWD. @ Wolfy2k..There are plenty of ricers in the Mustang world.Maybe I should starta Ricer 101 thread to teach the basics of what rice is.

i hate magazine comparos. what's funny is almost all of the comparos or tests of the v6 use a totally base car with an automatic.....wow way to show the true performance of the car....yet they opt for the dsg tranny on the new gti that costs a grand more and is faster. most magazines hate american cars, and just further hurt the name of the v6 mustang....edmunds reliabilitiy ratings for 2005 had the mustang gt as average, and the v6 as very poor (the lowest rating) now i haven't really heard of ANY engine problems on stock motors here, so whats the big difference in reliability from?
