Default i stalled hah

and for those of you who dont know... i have an automatic haha

it snowed for the first time of this spring-like winter and i had some fun after work on the slush covered icey parking lots. mid-slide i stalled it haha. thats probably not a good thing.

but damn... drifting is a hellova lot harder in the snow.

oh yeah. i stalled an automatic lol. i was spinning and spinning then silence. muscled it back into park and recranked the car haah.

I dont know how you stall an automatic..
Maybe you were slipping on the ice, your engine was revved so your torque converter was past it's stall speed, your tires hit pavement, got traction and stalled the motor...

I dont know dude..

You should feel proud.

Maybe you were slipping on the ice, your engine was revved so your torque converter was past it's stall speed, your tires hit pavement, got traction and stalled the motor...

And afraid..
that all sounds about right until the pavement part... it was thick ice cause it had been sleeting then it had a sleet/snow/slush mix in the middle and a nice powder coat of snow on top.

I stalled in my sisters automatic 2002 Dodge Stratus so it's possible.

Any good jolt to the crank shaft will stall the engine...I guess the higher the rpm the bigger the jolt needed to stall it...Probably not a good thing no matter how you look at it.
