I only drive about 10 miles to my buddys house then we pile up in the Titan and put the miles on that. Im barely hitting 20,000, think im at like 19,835 or something lol.Im gunna think about getting a beater but It will most likely be when the stangs starts up the beater problems. Which kinda defeats the purpose but hey.I wish I would have kept my 85 2.8L Camaro for later on.

John u get rid of the stripes?? I like it alot better. More sleeperish lol

Just curious how many on this sight have a old beater care to drive to and from work as opposed to wearing out your Mustang? I travel about 75 miles per day to and from work and am seriously considering getting an old car just to go back and forth.
75 miles a day? haha try 160 miles a day. I have several cars but my most comfortable one is my mustang and I love to drive it...its a car its ment to be driven. Ive already got over 35,000 miles on my car I got it NEW in march of 2006 lol. If you love to drive its worth it. I commute from Napa,CAto San Carlos, CA. You should be proud of the miles you put on your car, not worried about it breaking just take care of it.

I'm quite content with my 35mi each way every day. The last thing I want after a 16 hour shift is a three hour commute. You can keep your 160 miles a day! I drive the truck listed in my sig as my daily driver.

i drive from chicago il to naperville il and back, daily. that's just to the office. then on top of that i drive from naperville, il to west chicago, il, or maybe back to chicago, il, or algonquin, il, depending on where my client's office is that day. i easily put 200miles+ on my car a day. this is the reason i don't want a beater...i need a reliable car to get to and from work, which is why i bought a new car (my 06 gt). i bought this car for my comfort and because i drive so much i want it to be fun, and it's delivered. i just don't understand why you'd buy a mustang and then a beater...unless of course it's an investment...

No beater car. Maybe someday I'll get a GT, make it like 400hp and call it Black Sunshine.

Wish I had one though! Yesterday on the way to work, I had to hop a curb to avoid and accident. $210 bucks for a new tire and alignment. Frikin rip-off if ya ask me and thats after I got'em to know off a couple bucks.

I bought a 1993 Mercedes 300E for $5800 with 142000 miles and a recent valve job. I wouldn't call it a beater as it's in excellent condition in and out, but it is my daily driver to preserve the Stang.
