Should I get my car checked out about low gas mileage?

Should I get my car checked out about low gas mileage?
I have been noticing on the freeway that I am getting around 19 mpg (going 75-80), and in the city 17 mpg. Seems pretty low to me, one of the reasons I got a V6 is because of the better gas mileage than the GT. Is this something I should take to the dealership to get checked out? Has 12k miles on it, Automatic, vert.

reset your computer, disconnect your battery for about 10 minutes and it should reset all your computers settings... this should clear it and youll notice a difference when you drive it afterwards...
the drive by wire system learns how you drive.. its in your manual booklet/cd... its a normal thing amongst all stangs manual and auto transmissions...

How the hell do y'all drive your cars? I have a 2006 5sp coupe and I typically get 25-28 highway and 17-19 city.
The 17 city sounds reasonable, but only 19 highway? That seems awfully low to me.

I get around 19 city and 23 or 24 highway.
The GT is only 1 or 2 mpg different inEPA estimates. How much fuel were you expecting to save with a 4.0 six?
