nope. based on security the car wont work without the key in it. our keys have a little chip in them so even if someone made a copy of the key (metal part) it wouldn't work.

Besides, would you actually want a system where all it took was the push of a button to start and drive your car? Anyone could just punch in the window, hop in, push the button, and off they go. That would kind of suck. Our keys with the computer chips make these Mustangs harder to steal, which I would say is a nice feature.

Yeah, it's something of a novelty, it's a cool wow factor though, people always comment on it when riding in my car and want to push the button themselves

I ordered the "ignited" brand button from stylinconcepts.com and then wired it up. Your's is the S2000 button isn't it? I kind of wish I had gone that route, but I do like the blue of mine
The button was around 40 bucks, and then I used wire I had laying around anyways
