I'm having the same problem as you are. Afixer said he made sum type of bracket out of shink tube and another guy told me he used the tape. i tried the tape. didnt work. my body guy says maybe glue. good luck wit it. if you figure it out can you put a post up of how you did it? I have been trying for a minute now.

I have a tri-bar emblem on my stainless steel grille.. I know I might get some crap for this, but I cleaned the adhesive off of my tri-bar, washed it up with detergent and rubbing alcohol, cleaned the grille doing the same, then used "gorilla glue" and pressed it on there for about a minute and let it sit overnight. I've had it on the car for about 2 months now and it's still sitting strong

Afixer, I dont think your adapter idea will work with the thin black grille im looking at. (no thickness)

The gorilla glue seems good...but permanent.

the glue is very strong, just be careful not to get it on any part of the grille or bumper. I dripped a little bit down without noticing it until the next dayand it wasHARD to get off
