Default flowmaster question

ok ok I know, everyone can yell at me for another stupid exhaust question but on the exhaust sticky I get confused, especially on the websites of others. Here is my questions, exactly what flowmasters are offered for our mustang and which one is the loudest and which has the best overall sound. I know of the american thunders which sound relatively good to me but what are the other flowmasters out there?
Thanks

You can put any flowmaster you want on our cars, the 40's, super 40's and AT's sound great!

The only kits made to fit our cars without modifications are the American Thunders. I have them and they sound great!

There is only one flowmaster that will bolt right up
to our V6 stangs......now like pat6674u said, you can
have ANY flowmaster muffler fabricated to fit on your stang.
The mufflers I have are the American Thunders made for the
mustang GT. I think the people that did this is me, fazm, rygen, and
someone else I can't remember.

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/new_products.html

In that link you can see the flowmaster kit for the GT and the V6.
Don't get confused and think you can't put the GT on just cause you
got a V6, all you have to do is make your exhaust a dual setup.

Yes, the American Thunder is the one that is made to bolt up directly to a GT without modification, but if you have a V6 your are going to have to modify your exhaust to put a second muffler on. Flowmaster actually makes one specifically for the V6, but it is only one muffler. Instead of the 4" tip it has a 3.5" tip and as far as the internals go, the diagram I saw of the muffler the V6 had one less sound deadaning barrier than the one made for the GT. I have also heard that the American Thunder is nothing more than a Super 40 with a tip on it and a little bit of pre-bent pipe on it to make it where you can install it yourself, but like I said, if you are going to go dual from a V6 you will have to modify your exhaust so the little bit of pipe wont really help you except for the side that is already there. If the American Thunder is nothing more than a Super 40 with tips on it, you may actually be able to get a muffler shop to install Super 40's with tips cheaper than buying American Thunder Mufflers made specifically for the mustang. Just something to think about and maybe talk to a muffler shop about if you are planning on going with duals, but I would find out for sure if the muffler part of an American Thunder is the same as the Super 40. I was told by two different muffler shops that the super 40's and the AT's were the same thing, but I wasnt told thatuntill after I had already bought my AT's.

one more question, on a lot of vids/clips of the A.T.'s there is some popping in the exhaust, does that eventually go away and how long does it take?
